Along with the system you may have received either a driver CD or Diskette. Use appropriate media when indicated.
Suspend to Disk Partition (Windows 95/98)
1. Boot up from a bootable DOS disk.
2. Insert the disk labeled "Utility Diskette 1".
3. From A:\ prompt, type "phdisk /create /p".

Zip Drive
Windows 95
The Internal Iomega Zip Drive, which uses ATAPI/IDE interface, is automatically detected by the BIOS, and does not require device drivers for basic operations. However, if you wish to utilize the additional functionalities included in the Tools package, you should download it from Iomega website.

Windows NT 4.0
1. Download the Zip Drive Device Driver for Windows NT 4.0 from Iomega website.
2. Extract the files from the zip file.
3. Start Windows NT 4.0.
4. Go to Start Menu / Settings / Control Panel / SCSI Adapter / Drivers.
5. Select Add, and enter (dir)\ide as the file location, where (dir) is the location where the ZIP file was
    extracted.
6. Enter (dir)\ide again as the location of "imgatapi.sys".
7. Run Setup from the extracted directory to set up Tools for NT 4.0.
8. Reboot the system after Tools has been installed.

AUDIO
 Windows 95
1. Insert Utility Diskette 11, "Yamaha Audio Driver for Win95" into the floppy drive.
2. Go to Start / Control Panel / System / Device Manager.
3. Remove Other Devices / Unknown Devices, and Creative Labs Sound Blaster Pro, MPU-401 Compatible,
    Gameport Joystick, and MS-Windows Sound System Compatible under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
4. Click on Refresh. Setup will find an Unknown device, and the Update Device Driver Wizard will appear.
5. Click on Next, and Setup will find Yamaha OPL3-SAx Sound System.
6. Click on Finish. Setup will ask you to insert "OPL3-SAx driver for Windows 95 disk".
7. Change "Copy files from" to A:\.
8. After files are copied, you will find Yamaha OPL3-SAx Gameport and Sound System under Sound, Video,
    and Game Controllers.

Windows NT 4.0
1. In the BIOS, Set "Plug and Play OS" to NO, and Advanced-Audio Options/Sound to AUTO.
2. Boot into Windows NT, and insert the Windows NT 4.0 CD is inserted.
3. Start Windows Explorer, and find D:\drvlib\pnpisa\x86\pnpisa.ini.
4. Right click on the file, and select Install.
5. Reboot the system when prompted.
6. After Windows has restarted, insert Utility Diskette #12, Yamaha Audio Driver for NT 4.0 into the floppy drive.
7. From the Start menu, go to Settings / Control Panel / Multimedia / Devices / Add.
8. Select Unlisted or Updated Driver, then select OK.
9. Enter A:\ as the location of the driver disk, the select OK.
10. From the list of drivers, select English (or your preferred language), then select Ok.
11. After Windows has restarted, audio should be enabled.

VIDEO
 Windows 95
1. Insert Utility Disk 4, "C&T 6555x VGA Driver for Win95" into floppy drive.
2. Go to Start / Control Panel / Display / Setting / Advanced Properties / Adapter / Change / Have Disk / OK.
3. Go to Monitor / Change, under Standard Monitor types, select Laptop Display Panel (800 x 600) or
    (1024 x 768), click OK.
4. Close Advanced Display Properties window, close Display Properties window, and reboot.
Windows NT 4.0
1. Insert Utility Diskette #6 "C&T 6555x VGA Driver for NT 4.0" into the floppy drive.
2. From the Start Menu, go to Settings / Control Panel / Display / Settings / Display Type / Change.
3. Select Have Disk, then OK to copy files from drive A:\.
4. You will find Chips Video Accelerator as the only item listed. Click on OK.
5. Answer Yes to bypass the 3rd party driver warning.
6. Files will be copied from the diskette, and click on OK / Close / Close.
7. Remove the diskette from the floppy drive, then click on Yes to restart the computer.
8. After Windows has restarted, click on OK to confirm the installation of the new driver. Then select the
    appropriate setting for Desktop area for your particular LCD display (800x600 for 12.1", 1024x768
    for 14.1").
9. You may choose to Test the new settings, but it is not necessary.
10.Apply the settings, then click on Yes to confirm the new settings.

PCMCIA (Windows98)
 Windows 95
 1. Go to Start / Control Panel / System / Device Manager
2. Remove all devices under PCMCIA socket.
3. Click on System Devices / PCI bus / Properties.
4. In the IRQ Steering tab, check the box labeled "Get IRQ table from PCIBIOS 2.1 call".
5. Select Close, and reboot the system.
6. Go to Control Panel / PC Card PCMCIA. Answer No to the questions, then select Finish.
7. Shutdown the system when prompted.

Video Capture Drivers
Windows 95
1. Insert Utility Diskette #8 C&T Chips TV for Windows into the floppy drive.
2. Run a:\setup
3. Click on Continue twice to confirm installation directory.
4. Wait until files are copied, then click on OK.

Universal Serial Bus
Windows95 only
1. Insert the Windows 95 OSR2.x CD with USB Support.
2. Start Control Panel, and click on System / Device Manager / Other Devices, and remove PCI Universal
    Serial Bus.
3. Run D:\Other\Updates\USB\USBSUPP.EXE.
4. After you click Yes to accept the License Agreement, files will be copied. Restart the computer when finished.
 5. Windows will find the Universal Serial Bus Controller, and New Hardware Found wizard will start.
6. When asked to insert the Windows 95 CD-ROM or the location of uhcd.sys, type in C:\Windows\System as
    the path.
7. Allow Windows to find USB Root Hub and Universal Host Controller.
