Along with the system you may have received either a driver CD or Diskette. Use appropriate media when indicated.

Suspend to Disk Partition (Windows 95/98)
Boot the system  using a bootable system disk
Use the Utility Disk that accompanied the system labeled Suspend to Disk
Locate the file 0vmakfil located in the Suspend folder
Run the utility 0Vmakfil.exe -Pxxx (where xxx denotes amount of Ram + 12)

Core Logic Driver for Intel Chipset (Windows 95 only)
At the Windows95 desktop screen, click "Start", click "Run".
Click "Browse".
Click the down arrow button in Look In window, select the D: drive and click.
Open the "Txpatch" folder.
Click on "setup", and then click "Open".
Click "Ok" in the Run Window.
Click "Next" and follow the default install procedure
When install is complete click "Ok" to restart the system.
Windows will detect and install the drivers for new hardware found. Follow the instructions and click "Yes" to restart the system.
On restarting Windows will detect additional hardware and return to the desktop.

AUDIO (Windows98/95)
At the Windows Desktop Go to Start Settings Control PanelSystem
Click Device Manager tab.
Expand Other Devices folder and open the device PCI Multimedia Audio Device
Open Driver tab and click on update driver
Click Next
Click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location
Highlight Sound, Video and Game Controllers and click Next
Click Have Disk
Click "Browse"
Insert the driver CD that came was shipped with the system into the CDROM under Drives select the CDROM Drive (d:) and open the "Audio" folder.
Open "win9x" folder.
The file "maestro.inf" should appear under the file name window.
Click "Ok in the open Window
Click OK in the install from disk Window
The adapter "ESS Device Manager" appears,
Click "Ok" in the Select Device Window and Next in the following Window
You may be asked to insert the Windows 95/98 Disk,
When prompted for the Windows (98/95) CD-ROM disc please remove the Driver CD and replace it with the Windows98/95 CD, click "Ok".
Specify the correct path and folder for the files to be copied. The file should be copied from "D:\win98" (or D:\win95).
Click "Ok
You will be asked to reinsert the driver CD and point to the cd-drive\audio\win9x folder again to copy some more files (where cd-drive corresponds to drive letter d:)

VIDEO
Windows 95 / 98
At the Windows Desktop Go to Start Settings Control PanelDisplay
Click "Settings" tab.
Click "Advanced Properties".
Click Adapter tab and then click "Change".
Click Next
Select Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location and then click Next
Click "Have Disk".
Click "Browse".
Insert the driver CD that came was shipped with the system into the CDROM
under Drives select the CDROM Drive (d:) and open the "Video" folder.
Double-click "win9x" folder.
The file "macxw4.inf" should appear under the file name window.
Click "Ok in the open Window
Click OK in the install from disk Window
The adapter name "Rage LT PROAGP2X" should appear in the Select Device window.
Click "Ok" and Next to start copying files and Finish.
Apply the changes and restart for the new driver to be loaded.
Go back to the Advanced Display Properties window and click "Monitor" tab.
Click "Change".
Select "Laptop Display Panel (1024X768)" click "Ok".
Click "Apply" and then click "Ok".
Change the screen area or Desktop Area to 1024x768 pixel by sliding the pointer
Change Color Palette to High Color (16bit).
Click "Apply".
Click "Yes" to restart the system.

PCMCIA (Windows98)
At the Windows Desktop Go to Start Settings Control PanelSystem
Click Device Manager tab
Open "Other Devices" folder and remove all "Cardbus Bridges" by highlighting it and clicking on remove.
Close system properties and return to control panel.
Insert the Driver CD in the CDROM Drive
Go to My Computer Double-click on CDROM Drive to open it.
On the toolbar go to View menu and Folder options. Go to the View Tab and select Show all files
Double Click on "pcmcia" folder and open it.
Double-click on "win95" folder and open it.
Copy the file "pcmcia.inf" and paste it onto c:\Windows\inf folder.
Copy the files cbss.vxd, pccard.vxd, & pci.vxd and paste onto c:\windows\system.
Restart the Computer. On restarting new devices will be found.
When prompted for the Windows95 CD insert the CD in the Drive and click "Ok".
When specific files are not located please check the path to the drive and folder is correct. The file should be copied from "D:\win95". Click "Ok".
Click "Finish".
When PC Card Wizard window appears, the default is No, click "Next".
No again, click "Next".
Click "Finish".
Click "Yes" to shutdown computer.
Restart the computer and open Device Manager.
Open pcmcia socket and if you see a Red X beside the controller,
Double-click Texas Instruments PCI-1225 Cardbus Controller.
Under General uncheck box for Disable in this hardware profile, click "Ok".
When PC Card Wizard window appears, the default is No, click "Next".
No again, click "Next".
Click "Finish".
Do not restart computer. Repeat the process of enabling the device for the second Cardbus controller.
Click "Yes" to shutdown computer.

Universal Serial Bus
Windows95 only

At the Windows Desktop Go to Start Settings Control PanelSystem
Click Device Manager tab.
Open "Other Devices" folder and remove "PCI Universal Serial Bus" by highlighting it and clicking on remove.
Insert the Windows95 CD diskette into the CDROM drive
Click "Start", and then click "Run".
Click "Browse".
Click the down arrow in the look in window and select the D: drive.
Open "other" folder and then open "Updates".
Open "usb" folder.
Run "usbsupp" file, and click "Open" and click "Ok".
Click "Ok" again to install USB supplement.
The application will run scandisk and copy files.
Click "Ok" to restart the system when prompted.
Select Skip file if file not found message appear.
